What's the difference between Worlds and Games?

Understanding this distinction is key to mastering aiga_:

Worlds are like templates or "game maps":

  • Contain the setting, characters, locations, factions, and background lore

  • Define the rules, objectives, and possible story elements

  • Are reusable - you can start multiple games using the same world

  • Take a couple of minutes to generate and cost 10-25 credits depending on Size

  • Can be published for others to use or kept private

  • Include starting scenarios, character relationships, and world dynamics

Games are individual playthroughs:

  • Use a World as their foundation but create unique story instances

  • Track your specific choices, progress, and character development

  • Have their own inventory, relationships, and world state changes

  • Can be private (solo or invite-only) or public (community-accessible)

  • Costs varies and are charge per event and use of images in these events

    • No Images: Text-only experience (lowest cost)

    • Medium Images: Balanced visual enhancement with reasonable credit usage

    • High Images: Rich, detailed illustrations for premium visual storytelling (higher cost)

  • Generate unique outcomes and paths even when using the same World

Think of it this way: A World is like a board game with its rules and pieces, while a Game Session is an actual playthrough of that board game with specific players making specific moves.
